Director of Pricing

Director of Pricing
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and management of a Pricing Organization and will be responsible for activities associated with developing proposals for new opportunities and contract modifications.
Responsibilities:
• Administer complex contract and proposal pricing activities for predominantly GSA schedule orders under Federal government agencies.
• Administer pricing activities for negotiated Federal, International, and State and Local government contracts.
• Perform cash flow modeling and analysis.
• Establish cash flow / contract financial milestones, payment schedules, and ROI analysis.
• Review government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), decompose and communicate all RFP pricing requirements with multiple disciplines for compilation of cost and schedule estimates.
• Review cost proposals with Senior Management and participate in development of cost strategy models.
• Support pricing efforts for all major types of transactions such Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Unit Pricing; Time and Materials (T/M), Cost-Plus, and IDIQ
• Perform risk analysis, including upside/downside analysis as it relates to pricing.
• Prepare cost and price proposals for various contract types, including change orders.
• Perform detailed pricing for the value added company activities; integrate subcontractor cost and price proposals; and perform price modeling such as “Price H” and other relevant defense industry pricing models.
• Participate in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changes that involve pricing.
• Interact daily with executives, program managers, government personnel, prime contractors, and subcontractors on a variety of government contract issues.
Requirements:
• BS degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related field.
• 10 + years of pricing experience with Federal government contracting, either in the government or private industry
• 5+ years of direct acquisition experience with an emphasis in pricing.
• Experience with GSA schedule development of rates and commercial requirements.
• Knowledge of FAR, GSA, CAS and DCAA audits.
• Expertise in pricing various types of efforts, to include FFP, T/M, CPAF, CPFF, etc.
• Price to win experience
• Experience with strategic pricing preferred
